SK-II runs 24/7 live commerce streams across their product lines, and I was brought in to design the branded digital backgrounds. Working closely with the SK-II team, I developed a range of treatments, spanning corporate partnerships, seasonal moments, and new product launches, each finding a fresh way to express the brand without losing what makes it recognizable.


SK-II's collaboration with Maison Kitsuné called for backgrounds that could hold both identities at once. The result fused Kitsuné's witty, illustration-driven aesthetic with the quiet elegance SK-II is known for.


For the launch of LXP, the brand story centered on the bottle's warm brass-like finish and the organic ingredients it contained. I designed backgrounds that echoed that language, rich textures, warm light, and a natural sensibility that set the right mood for the product's debut.


For a Valentine's Day Maison Kitsuné collaboration, the backgrounds needed to honor two distinct brands and a holiday without any one element taking over. The result was deliberately light — playful touches that felt festive and on-brand without crowding the space.


Around-the-clock streaming meant a deep bench of backgrounds was a practical necessity. Simple or elaborate, flat or fully dimensional, every version answered to the same standard: it had to read as SK-II.
